Femoral Supracondylar Dome Osteotomy in the Treatement of Patients with Knee Valgus Deformity
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the surgical technique and efficiency of femoral supracondylar dome osteotomy in treatment of knee valgus deformity.Methods Eight patients with knee valgus deformity underwent femoral supracondylar dome osteotomy.There were 3 males and 5 females with an age of range (14 ～ 35) years.4 cases (left knee) and 4 cases (right knee) with genu valgus,and6 cases with congenital dysplasia and 2 cases with damage were found before surgery.According to Ahlback osteoarthritis staging system,there were 6 knees on stage I and 2 knees on stage Ⅱ,respectively.The femoral supracondylar dome osteotomy combined with internal fixation were applied in patients with valgus knee deformity.All patients were followed up for 2-4 years.Results The valgus knees deformity had been corrected effectively in all cases.Compared with the preoperative X ray film,Complete bone healing was obtained in all patients.The joint function was markedly improved,and the motion of knee joint was good.The subjective satisfaction of patients was good for postoperative status.Conclusion The femoral supracondylar dome osteotomy is a safe,reliable,effective method and strategy for treatment of valgus knee deformity and is worth popularizing,which provide practice reference data for the use of this surgical procedure in clinical.关键词
