Expression of Rho protein in oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma

Abstract
Objective:To explore the express of Rho protein in oral leukoplakia and oral squamous.Methods:Immunohistochemical SP staining method was used to quantify the protein expression levels of Rho protein in 15 cases of normal oral mucosa(NOM),16 cases of oral leukoplakia(OLK),and 30 cases of oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)tissue.Results:The positive expression rate of RhoA protein in normal oral mucosa,oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma was 13.3%,50.0% and 80.0%.The positive expression rate of RhoB was 80.0%,37.5% and 10%.The positive expression rate of RhoC was 6.7%,50.0% and 83.3%.Rho protein expression had significant difference among normal oral mucosa,oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.05).Conclusion:The difference expression of Rho protein in oral leukoplakia and oral squamous cell carcinoma tissues may play an important role in the development of oral squamous cell carcinoma.关键词
