Abstract
Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of Taohong Siwu decoction combined with external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine on arteriosclerosis obliterans. Methods:Total 210 patients with arte-riosclerosis obliterans and blood stasis stagnating vessels syndrome were randomly divided into group A, group B and group C. Besides the basic treatment on blood pressure,blood fat and blood sugar,group A received routine western medicine treatment,group B were treated with Taohong Siwu decoction and western medicine,group C used the combination therapy of traditional Chinese and western medicine. PT,FIB,TG, TC,LDL-C and ABI before and after treatment were compared in the three groups. The vascular diameter, peak flowrate and blood flow volume of superficial femoral artery,dorsalis pedis artery and the posterior tib-ial artery were compared in the three groups. Results:The curative effect of group C was better than that in group B and group A(P<0.05). There were no statistical significance in PT and FIB in the three groups (P>0.05),but other biochemistry indexes were better and the improvement in group C was more significant than that in group B and group A after treatment(P<0.01). ABI in the three groups were all improved af-ter treatment(P<0.05) and the improvement in group C was more significant than that in group B and group A(P<0.01). The results of ultrasonography in the three groups were all improved after treatment(P<0.05). The blood flow volume of superficial femoral artery and the peak flowrate and the blood flow volumeof dor-salis pedis artery were better improved in group B and group C than those in group A (P<0.01), while the difference between group C and group B was not significant. The other tests in ultrasonogra-phy had statistical significance between every two groups and the improvement in group C was more signifi-cant than that in group B and surely group A(P<0.01). Conclusion:Taohong Siwu decoction combined with external therapy of TCM could improve several indexes of blood biochemistry and blood physicsand the im-provement was more significant than just the routine western medicine treatment or combined with internal traditional Chinese medicine.关键词
