Abstract
The development of Yangtze River Economic Belt is officially included in the national development strategy. The proposed railway corridor along Yangtze River Economic Belt is supportive to the development of Yangtze River Economic Belt. On the bases of the geological condition, industrial distribution and economic characteristics of the corridor along Yangtze River, this paper justifies the planning and construction of the railway corridor in view of the current development status, existing problems of the proposed railway corridor, the transport demand within the corridor in different periods, as well as functions of the proposed project.关键词
