Genesis Model of Sandbodies in Chang6 Tight Oil Reservoirs in the Western Area of Jiyuan, the Ordos Basin

Abstract
In this paper, the types, petrological characteristics, provenance characteristics, sedimentary environments and hydrodynamic conditions of sandbodies in Chang6 tight oil reservoirs in the western area of Jiyuan were analyzed based on drilling cores, logging and petrographic thin sections by using single well analysis, multiwall correlation and areal verification.Then, the genesis models of Chang6 sandbodies in the western area of Jiyuan, the Ordos Basin were accordingly established and verified from the viewpoint of spatial distribution laws of sandbodies.It is indicated that Chang6 sandbodies in the western area of Jiyuan are mainly composed of fine-very fine lithic arkose and feldspathic lithic sandstone, presenting the characteristics of NW-SE banded distribution and basinward progradation.They are thin with high shale content.River channels are characterized by strong lateral migration, obvious multicycle, poor vertical superimposition and good areal continuity.Chang6 sandbodies are in the sedimentary environment of shallow-water delta with the characteristics of near provenance and shallow water body, and it is an obvious regression process.In this sedimentary environment, Chang6 sandbodies are deposited in the model of "slow-fluctuation progradation" as the lake level drops slowly with fluctuation.The rationality of this sedimentary model is verified by areal distribution laws of sandbodies in the study area.The research results provide some geologic basis for the exploration and development of tight oil reservoirs.关键词
