Abstract
The name of "Liyang" was first found in Sima Qian's Historical Records.Liyang should be a county of Chu Kingdom in the Warring States Period, subsequently an armed resident of Jiujiang County in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the Yangzhou governor place in the Eastern Han Dynasty.Its name has the meanings of county name, state name, town name and city name."Hezhou" was first found in Li Boyao's "Bei Qi Book" and Li Yanshou's "North History" in the Tang dynasty.Qi State and Liang State were united in Liyang, hence the name of Hezhou was created.The name of Hezhou represented state name, county name, road name and municipality name.The paper makes a detailed study on the construction and history of Liyang and Hezhou, and pointed out some errors and omissions on the records of Hezhou in "Ci Yuan" and "Ci Hai".关键词
