摘要

Abstract

Ionosperic Es layer is the irregularities in ionosphere which often occurs in summer of China.In this paper,a distribution model of Electronis thickness in Es layer based on background ionosphere characteristic is proposed.The influence of Es layer on the over-the-horizon radar is analyzed and the characteristics of radar detection coverage are obtained.With the experimental simulation,it is demonstrated that the model has consistency with the real situation.The Es layer model could be the theoretic evidence of the radar performance assessment and operating support.
