A Detection Algorithm for MIMO Radar with Correlated Diversity Channels

Abstract
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar uses waveform diversity or spatial diversity to improve the performance of the radar.Typically,the scattering amplitudes of the signals received by different antennas are either fully correlated or independent depending on radar array configuration.However,radar array configuration f in some situations leads to correlation in the scattering,so as to influence the detection performance for MIMO radar.In this paper,detection algorithm of MIMO radar is studied by using Neyman-Pearson criterion under correlation for diversity channels,an approximate closed expressions is derived for detection probability and false alarm probability,and effect of diversity channels correlation to MIMO radar detection is analyzed.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.关键词
