Undergraduate Agri-Economics Education in Japan: Development and Implication
摘要
Abstract
Based on the discipline`s evolution and educational system, this paper analyzed the status and trends of undergraduate education of agricultural economics in Japan.A few lessons can be learned from Japan`s experience as follows.Firstly, to accord with the needs of national and international economic development, Japan`s agricultural economics gradually extends its focus to food industry economics, and resources and environmental economics.Secondly, it pays attention toagronomic knowledge, which helps increase the competitiveness of its graduates in agriculture-related job markets.Finally, it carries out the undergraduate tutor responsibility system to enhance students` academic and personal development.关键词
