再论奈达翻译理论之属性
On the Nature of Nida's Translation thoery
摘要
Abstract
Since the beginning of 21st century, there exists a prevailing point of view in Chinese translation circle-Nida's translation theory is considered to be fallen within structuralist translation studies and structural linguistics is characterized by being static and closed;therefore, Nida's translation theory bears various deficiencies relevant to structural linguistics;and for this reason, Nida's translation theory is viewed as being out of date nowadays.However, Nida's linguistic theory differs enormously from structural linguistics;and besides, Nida's translation theory differs significantly from structuralist translation studies.Therefore, it is inappropriate to regard Nida's translation theory as structuralist linguistic approach to translation studies.In the end, the author stresses that Nida's translation theory should be appreciated from three dimensions other than two dimensions, and we are supposed to approach Nida and his theory from many perspectives or facets.关键词
