摘要

Abstract

The electrochemical performances (self-corrosion and discharge) of two kinds of magnesium alloy AZ31 and AZ61 in artificial seawater were investigated by means of hydrogen evolution,potentiodynamic polarization,AC impedance analysis and constant current discharge method.The result of hydrogen evolution shows that the gassing volume of AZ61 is higher than that of AZ31.The results of potentiodynamic polarization and AC impedance analysis show that the corrosion rate of AZ31 is lower than that of AZ61 in artificial seawater.The result of constant current discharge represents that the current efficiency of AZ31 is larger than that of AZ61 at low current density but lower than that of AZ61 at high current density.
