摘要

Abstract

In allusion to the problem of frequent damage of parallel capacitor bank in 10 kV side of one substation, relationship curve between percentage of background harmonic voltage and coefficient of injury of harmonic was drawn on the basis of switching experiment on capacitors and level testing on harmonic in the substation.The direct reason for damage of the capacitor bank was concluded as mismatching of parameters of reactive power compensation capacitor tank and series reactors which consequently caused three times of harmonic enlargement and over-voltage.Simulation experiment verified the conclusion.Combining with field actual situation in this substation, solution of selecting the capacitor bank with 12% reactance rate was proposed.
