摘要

Abstract

Due to the lack of reseaeching the influential factors of experiment on metal materials struck by simulated lightning currents in China and at abroad,we investigated the influences of electrode shape,copper fuse,and experiment distance on metal damage results based on experimental and theoretical methods.The results show that,in the metal damage experiment with the simulated first return stroke,continuing current of interval stroke and long continuing current,increasing the diameter of copper fuse only leads to an increase of damage depth.The streamer developing zone enlarges and the transferred energy in unit area decreases with experiment distance longer,which increases the damage area and decreases the damage depth.Using the cone electrode leads to the smallest radius of streamer initiation region and development zone,followed by using the semi-ellipsoid and hemisphere electrode.For this reason,using cone electrodes leads to the severest results both in damage area and depth,followed by the semi-ellipsoid and hemisphere electrode.Damage area decreases with electrode diameter decreasing for the same shape electrode,while the damage depth increases with electrode diameter decreasing.
