Abstract

500 kV power transmission and transformation equipment is washed by hot water in domestic at present.To improve and perfect the 500 kV hot water washing engineering,we cpmpared and experimentally researched the washing efficiency of normal and anti-pollution type post insulators in 500 kV,RTV coating and un-coating insulator.Washing efficiency for typical 500 kV normal and anti-pollution type post insulators under the same level contamination degree and different washing angle was compared by using 8 mm diameter nozzle with 4 guns after considering two working conditions such as artificial and vehicle-carried robot arm washing.The test results show that the anti-pollution insulator washing time for cleaning a unit umbrella needs 1 s more time than normal insulator due to surface groove with washing angle from 10° to 30°,and when washing angle is greater than 30°,washing time for cleaning a unit umbrella of regular and anti-pollution insulator has little difference.Artificial washing time for cleaning a e-contamination degree normal insulator and a anti-pollution insulator needs 31 s and 34 s,respectively,while with vehicle-carried robot arm,washing and cleaning the same insulators needs 26 s and 32 s,respectively.Washing time for cleaning a RTV coating unit umbrella with 30° washing angle under c,d,e-contamination degree need 2 s,3 s,and 4 s,respectively,while for a RTV un-coating unit umbrella need 4 s,5 s,and 6 s,respectively,under the same condition,2 s washing time increasing for a RTV coating than a RTV un-coating unit umbrella on average.In addition,The washing time for a unit umbrella will increase linearly with the increase of diameter,and increase with the contamination degree and washing angle increase.
