Abstract
In order to analyze the effect of multi-gap longitudinal arc-extinguishing system (MGS),we established a longitudinal airflow coupled arc mathematical model.And by the model,we analyzed and calculated the arc-extinguishing pipe temperature,electric current,pressure,and other parameters.In order to verify the correctness of the calculation resuits and the continuous flow quenching efficiency of the system,we selected the power frequency current arc with an amplitude of 2 kA and the arc extinguishing device with a number of 20 arc extinguishing pipes to test the arc suppression device.The results show that the superposition of arc column energy and self-expanding arc-extinguishing airflow have a deep effect on the transient development of power frequency freewheeling arc,the arc current decays to a minimum of 10 A at about 50 μs.The results show that the MGS can impel power frequency arc to basically complete attenuation in 130 μts,and the reignition rate is almost zero,which proves the validity and reliability of the self-energized arc-extinguishing.关键词
