Abstract
Objective:This study aimed to investigate the expression of long non-coding RNA LOC728040 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and normal tissues.Methods:Quantitative reverse-transcription PCR (qPCR) was performed to detect the expression of LOC728040 in HCC tissues and paracancer tissues to explore the differences of the clinical indicators of HCC between two groups of low and high expression.And the target genes prediction of LOC728040 as a supplement.Results:The lower expression of LOC728040 was found in HCC tissues compared with the paracancer tissues (P ＜0.05).According to the expression,Patients were divided into two groups,and their occupation,tumor capsular and serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP) were significantly different (P ＜ 0.05).We found LOC728040 upstream existed an alpha albumin gene(AFM) through the Cis analysis by Blast software.Conclusion:Long non-coding RNA LOC728040 was markedly downregulated in HCC tissues and was correlated with occupation tumor capsular and serum ALP.The LOC728040 might be a biomarker for detection of HCC or other cancers,but its underlying mecha nisms still need further study.关键词
