Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Alpha Hydroxy acid combined with traditional Chinese medicine facial mask in the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. Methods One hundred and Forty patients with mild to moderate acne vulgaris were randomly divided into three groups. Treatment group (48 cases) treated with Alpha Hydroxy acid combined with traditional Chinese medicine facial mask methods, the control group 1 (46 cases) treated only with Alpha Hydroxy acid and the control group 2 (46 cases) treated only with the traditional Chinese medicine facial mask. The clinical efficacy and safety were assessed 12 weeks after treatment. Meanwhile, recurrences were assessed one month later. Results The effective rate of treatment group was 89.37%, which was higher than those in the control group 1 and the control group 2 (68.18% and 65.91%). The recurrence rate in the treatment group, the control group 1 and the control group 2 was respectively 6.38%, 18.18% and 22.73%. No serious adverse reactions were found in the three groups. Conclusion The Alpha Hydroxy acid combined with traditional Chinese medicine facial mask is more effective and less recurrence in the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris. Moreover, it is worthy of wide clinical application.关键词
