摘要
Abstract
Human T-lymphtropic virus (HTLV-1 and HTLV-2) are closely associated with adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) and HTLV-associated myelopathy/tropical spastic paraparesis (HAM/TSP).Blood transfusion,sexual intercourses and mother to child are main patterns of HTLVs transmission.HTLV screening among blood donors is an effective prevention of transmission of HTLVs through transfusion.A series of cost-effectiveness analysis were performed in Europe and in the United States,which contributes to implementation of HTLV screening among blood donors.Researchers from different areas of China suggest dissimilar strategy because of the discrepancy of HTLV prevalence and economy,which,however,is still unclear.We present an overview of different strategies of HTLV screening among blood donors in different regions of China and other foreign countries.关键词
