Abstract
Simulation study on a wide bandwidth,high gain W-band simple circular beam travelling wave tube using a staggered double-grating with step-shaped grooves slow-wave structure is described in this paper.CST-MWS software is used to simulate and analyze dispersion characteristics and coupling impedance.The electromagnetic characteristic simulation shows that it has wide bandwidth and high coupling impedance.3-D particle-in-cell simulation predicts that with a 45 mW input power,the TWT produces an output power of 268.96 W and a gain of 37.76 dB.The 3 dB bandwidth is achieved at about 19 GHz.关键词
