摘要
Abstract
High power Ka-band helix TWTs are playing increasingly important roles in modern military electronic equipments including radars,electron warfare and communication systems.In this paper,high frequency structure of a Ka-band 1 kW helix pulse TWT is designed.The working voltage of the tube is 18.5 kV,the current is 380 mA,the bandwidth is 6 GHz,the electron efficiency is 15% and the saturated gain is 40 dB.Back wave oscillation in high power helix TWTs are effectively suppressed through reasonable design of the size and position of the attenuator,and the size distribution of helix.关键词
