Clinical effect of external application with traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of hand-foot-mouth disease and related nursing measures

Abstract
Objective To observe the Clinical effect of external application with traditional Chinese medicine in treatment of hand-foot-mouth disease, and to summarize related nursing measures during treatment.Methods A total of 100 pediatric patients with hand-foot-mouth disease were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 50 cases in each group.Both two groups received western medicine therapy, and the external application with traditional Chinese medicine was applied in the study group.The time to rash regression and fever clearance was observed, and the clinical efficacy of treatment was compared between two groups.Results The overall efficacy rate was higher in the study group than that of controls (P<0.05).Patients in the study had earlier time to rash regression and fever clearance compared with those in the control group, with a significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion In addition to western medicine therapy, external application with traditional Chinese medicine can improve the rehabilitation of patients with hand-foot-mouth disease.关键词
