Abstract
Objective To investigate the preventive nursing intervention on lower limb deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after artificial total hip arthroplasty(THA).Methods A total of 78 patients undergoing THA were randomly divided into the control group and study group, with 39 cases in each group.Both two groups received routine nursing care before and after operation, and the preventive nursing intervention was carried out in the study group additionally.The incidence of lower limb DVT was observed.The qualification of nursing service was assessed by self-made questionnaires.Results The incidence of lower limb DVT was lower in the study group than that of controls (P<0.05).Patients in the study scored higher in health education on complication, psychological nursing, limb functional exercise, communication between patients and nurses compared with those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Preventive nursing intervention is potentially effective to reduce the risk of lower limb DVT after THA.关键词
