Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing on the quality of life of patients with schizophrenia.Methods A total of 84 patients with schizophrenia were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 42 cases in each group.Both two groups received routine care, and the observation group was applied with evidence-based nursing interventions.The quality of life was evaluated by positive and negative syndrome scale (PANSS) before and after intervention.Results The PANSS score was decreased in both two groups after intervention, and was better improved in the observation group than that of controls (P<0.05).According to the social disability screening schedule (SDSS), patients in the observation group had lower score in level of social, family function, occupation ability and life ability compared with those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing is potentially effective to improve the quality of life in patients with schizophrenia.关键词
