Abstract
Objective To evaluate the comfort nursing interventions for elderly patients with chronic heart failure.Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with chronic heart failure were assigned to the control group (n=30) and the observation group (n=30) according to admission date.Both two groups received comprehensive treatment and routine care, and the comfort nursing interventions were carried out in the observation group.The cardiac function improvement was evaluated.The self-rating anxiety scales (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS) and treatment compliance were compared between two groups.Results There was no significant difference in cardiac function improvement effect between two groups (P>0.05).After nursing intervention, patients of the observation group had lower score in SAS and SDS and higher treatment compliance compared with those of controls (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion Comfort nursing intervention is potentially effective to relieve the negative emotion and improve the treatment compliance in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.关键词
