摘要

Abstract

The effects of sintering temperature and SiC whisker content on the microstructure,bending strength,fracture toughness,hardness and friction and wear properties of WC based composite materials were studied,and the mechanism was analyzed.The results show that,when the SiC whisker content were 0.4% and 0.6%,the flexural strength and fracture toughness of WC composites increases first and then decrease with the increase of sintering temperature,and get the maximum when the sintering temperature is 1 400 ℃;with the increase of SiC whisker content,the hardness of SiC whisker modified WC composites shows increases first and then decrease,and get the maximum value when the SiC whisker content is 0.4%;with the increase of load,the friction coefficient of WC composites showed overall decreased tread with different SiC whisker content;under the same loading condition,the WC based composite materials get the minimum friction coefficient when the SiC whisker content is 0.4%.
