Abstract

The climate of Lanzhou-Xinjiang railroad in Xinjiang province is cruel, and the current method of settlement evaluation is manual leveling, which cannot meet the frequency and accuracy demanded by code. CDI-400 combined settlement equipment was developed; typical experimental spot was selected to evaluate the subgrade settlement. The results shows that: The absolute errors of CDI-400 combined settlement equipment remains under ±0.2 mm, it can evaluate the subgrade settlement of high-speed railway in accordance with the relevant technical requirements; the average foundation settlement of experimental spot was 10.38 mm, 6.0 mm settlement happened during subgrade filing, and 4.38 mm settlement after subgrade filling; the foundation settlement mainly happened during the subgrade filling; the mean value of subgrade compression settlement was 1.14 mm, which is very small, the subgrade settlement was mainly characterized by the foundation settlement, it can meet the subgrade settlement requirements of passenger dedicated line to treat the foundation with compact roiling; the foundation settlement in Gobi desert mainly happened during instant settlement phases, presented as shear settlement deformation.
