Abstract
The purpose and the effect of welding procedure qualification (WPQ) are analyzed,combining with the actual use of the WPQ,under what circumstances the WPQ should or not be carried out are put forward.Repetitive WPQ should be reduced as far as possible,and the WPQ standard for the commonly used steel should be created for the manufacturer and installation department.The newly developed steels and welding materials must be carried out with the WPQ,and a optimum set of welding technology are gained by the test for guiding the production.关键词
