摘要

Abstract

Large-scale photovoltaic plants connected to the grid has a significant impact on power system damping, which brings a new method to suppress low frequency oscillation, so additional damping control based on active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) was proposed. The impact of the ADRC additional damping control on the damping coefficient of synchronous generator was derived by the complex torque coefficient analysis. Power systems including photovoltaic plants with ADRC were set up by DIgSILENT and the simulation verification were performed. In the single-machine infinite bus system, the traditional PI controller and ADRC controller were compared, and the results show that the ADRC controller has better effect. In the 4 machines 2 areas system, the effects of the control method were verified in a variety of tie-line power and capacity of photovoltaic plants, and the results show that the control method can effectively suppress the power oscillation of the tie-line. The active power oscillation of the adjacent synchronous generator is also suppressed, and the effect is more obvious with the increase of the photovoltaic plants capacity. Simulation indicates that the ADRC controller has strong robustness.
