2015年新疆皮山Ms 6.5地震序列震源深度测定
The depth determination of Pishan Ms 6.5 earthquake sequence in Xinjiang area, 2015
摘要
Abstract
An Ms 6.5 earthquake happened on July 3,2015 in Pishan,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,which was followed by a series of aftershocks.Using the PTD method and HypoSAT method,the focal depths of the main shock and aftershock sequence for Pishan Ms 6.5 earthquake are calculated.The results show that:For this earthquake,the focal depth from PTD method is 21 kim,the focal depth from HypoSAT method is 20 km.In earthquake sequence,with the PTD method,the focal depth are mainly distributed in 15-35 km,the average focal depth is 23 krn,by HypoSAT method the focal depth are mainly distributed in 5-30 km,the average focal depth is 19 km.The focal depth with PTD method is deep than that from the HypoSAT method.This result is no different than the depth (24 kin) with moment tensor inversion get by Institute of Geophysics,China Earthquake Administration.关键词
