Abstract
Objective:To discuss the clinical efficacy of methylprednisolone pulse therapy for electrical status epilepticus during sleep (ESES).Methods:Collected the epilepsy children's clinical data from January 2010 to March 2015,which have diagnosed ESES.Given methylprednisone pulse treatment of children as treatment group (12 cases),during the same period diagnosis of ESES without the use of hormone treatment of children as control group (15 cases).The clinical efficacy,the seizure control and improvement of ESES phenomena of EEG before and after methylprednisolone pulse therapy were compared.Results:The total efficiency was 91.7％,including the phenomenon of ESES disappeared completely was 66.7％ in the treatment group.In the control group,the total efficiency was 46.7％,but the phenomenon of ESES disappeared completely was only 20.0％ (P＜0.05).Conclusion:The curative effect of the methylprednisolone pulse therapy for ESES is distinct,epilepsy seizure and the ESES phenomenon are improved obviously.关键词
