Abstract

Phenological phenomenon is a sensitive indicator of climate change.Based on the phenological data,it has an important directive significance for forestry production practice to analyze the effects of climate change on the phenophase of woody plants in the Horqin Sandy Land.According to the phenology observation and climatic data related to the phenophase of Populus simonii Carr.and Ulmus pumila L.at the meteorological stations of agriculture and animal husbandry in Kailu,Inner Mongolia during the period of 1983-2012,in this paper the effects of climate change on the phenophase of P.simonii Carr.and U.pumila L.in the Horqin Sandy Land were analyzed using the linear tendency estimation and Pearson correlation coefficient.The results are as follows:① The temperature was increased significantly,climate tendency rate was 0.501 ℃ · (10a)-1,and the sunshine duration was increased by 109.65 d every 10 years;② In recent 30 years,the bud opening stage of P.simonii Carr.and U.pumila L.became early at first and then late.The late defoliating stage was relatively stable, the growing season was relatively shortened, and the average growing seasons of the two species were 198 d and 209 d respectively;③ Temperature was the key meteorological factor affecting the bud opening stage of P.simonii Carr.and U.pumila L., and the late defoliating stage was sensitive to the sunshine duration.
