Effects of high-intensity focused ultrasound combined with interventional chemoembolization on the advanced cervical cancer lesion growth and cell invasion

Abstract
Objective: To study the effectof high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) combined with interventional chemoembolization on the advanced cervical cancelesion growth and cell invasion.Methods: Patientwith stage IIB-IVcervical cancetreated in Suining Hospital of TCM between May 2014 and Octobe2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, HIFU group received HIFU combined with interventional chemoembolization, and the control group accepted interventional chemoembolization.The levelof tumomarkerin serum awell athe expression of tumosuppressogeneand invasion genein tumolesionwere determined before and aftetreatment.Results: 2 weeks, 3 weekand 4 weekaftetreatment, serum TK-1, SCand CA125 levelof both groupwere lowethan those before treatment, serum TK-1, SCand CA125 levelof HIFU group 2 weekaftetreatmenwere nodifferenfrom those of control group, and serum TK-1, SCand CA125 levelof HIFU group 3 weekand 4 weekaftetreatmenwere significantly lowethan those of control group;4 weekaftetreatment, AIF, NDRG4, SARI and eIF4E3 mRNexpression in tumolesionof both groupwere highethan those before treatmenwhile FAK, KGFand MMP9 mRNexpression were lowethan those before treatment, and AIF, NDRG4, SARI and eIF4E3 mRNexpression in tumolesionof HIFU group were highethan those of control group while FAK, KGFand MMP9 mRNexpression were lowethan those of control group.Conclusion: HIFU combined with interventional chemoembolization can be more effective in suppressing the advanced cervical cancelesion growth and cell invasion than interventional chemoembolization alone.关键词
