Effects of Eleutheroside B on Expression of Tight Junction Protein and Inflammatory Cytokine mRNA in Small Intestinal Epithelial Cells of Piglets

Abstract
In this experiment,small intestinal epithelial cells of piglets were used as the model to study the effects of eleutheroside B (EB) on mRNA expression of cell tight junction proteins and inflammatory cytokines in small intestinal epithelial cells of piglets (IPEC-J2) cells by qRT-PCR method.The results showed that eleutheroside B significantly enhanced the expression of mRNA in intestinal tight junction proteins including Claudin-3,Occludin and ZO-1,and anti-inflammatory cytokines including IL-10 and TGF-β.At the same time,eleutheroside B decreased the expression of mRNA in pro-inflammatory cytokines including IL-6,TNF-α and INF-γ.The results showed that eleutheroside B could improve intestinal barrier function of piglets by changing the expression of tight junction proteins and cytokines.关键词
