EFFECT OF MUSCA DOMESTICA ANTIMICROBIAL PEPTIDES ON CELL APOPTOSIS, MITOCHONDRIAL MEMBRANE POTENTIAL, AND INTRACELLULAR CALCIUM CONCENTRATION IN HEPG2 CELLS

Abstract
In this paper,we investigate the effect of antimicrobial peptides extracts on HepG2 cells from the perspective of tumor cell apoptosis and its mechanism.Hoechst 33258 staining were used to observe the cell nuclear morphology of HepG2 after treatment with antimicrobial peptide from Musca domestica larva.Flow cytometry were used to analysis the effect of antimicrobial peptide on cell apoptosis,mitochondrial membrane potential and intracel|ular calcium concentration of HepG2 cells.HepG2 cells treated with Musca domestica antimicrobial peptides had a typical morphological characteristic apoptosis,such as nuclear cohesion,chromatin chemotaxis and nuclear fragmentation.HepG2 cells apoptosis rate were increased with decreased mitochondria membrane potential and increased calciumion concentration under the pressure of antimicrobial peptides from domestic flies.关键词
