摘要

Abstract

In this study,a recombinant type Ⅰ Marek's disease virus vaccine strain (CVI988/Rispens) expressing EGFP reporter gene,rMDV-EGFP,was used as parent virus to develop recombinant MDV expressing infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV) gB and gD gene.Generally,the expression box of EGFP reporter gene was replaced with ILTV gB and gD gene through homologous recombination method.The generated recombinant viruses were designated as rMDV-ILTgB and rMDV-ILTgD.The recombinant viruses were identified by PCR and indirect immunofluorescence test,and the result showed that the target genes had been functionally integrated into the MDV genome as expected.In the protection efficacy test,the results showed that rMDV-ILTgB and rMDV-ILTgD immunization could provide better pro tection for virulent ILTV challenge than the live-attenuated ILTV vaccine.The data,including morbidity,mortality and weight gain after challenge,showed significant differences between groups immunized with recombinant MDVs and nonvaccinated challenge group.Futhermore,significant differences also existed between groups immunized with recombiuant MDVs and live-attenuated ILTV vaccine when the data of mortality and weight gain were compared.
