摘要
Abstract
To overcome the difficulties of energy saving and non-overloading characteristics in marine centrifugal pumps, this paper demonstrates the theoretical analysis and proposes a new design method for the high efficiency pumps with a low specific speed. According to proposed method, a serial-parallel running pump have been developed, and the experimental results have shown that proposed design can obviously improve the efficiency of the pumps with a low specific speed, and there is no overloading influences. Thus this proposed design can be applied widely for various kinds of marine centrifugal pumps, as well as other civil ships equipped with the pumps with a low specific speed.关键词
