慢性酒精中毒性脑病的临床观察

Abstract
Objective To study the clinical characteristics of chronic alcohol encephalopathy for providing a guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods A retrospective study was performed to analyze the clinical manifestations,imaging characteristics and therapeutic effect in 75 cases of chronic alcohol encephalopathy.Results The patients were 73 male,2 female,and the onset of disease was between 29 and 73 years old [mean (49.69±12.54) years].The clinical manifestations showed great diversity:mental symptoms (40 cases,53.3％),limbs tremor (15 cases,20.0％),dizzy (15 cases,20.0％),nystagmus (13 cases,17.3％),memory impairment (13 cases,17.3％),ataxia (1 1 cases,14.7％),limbs anesthesia (9 cases,12.0％).CT/MRI finding included brain atrophy (44 cases),demyelinated changes (6 cases),and cerebral infarct (18 cases).Abstinence combined with vitamin B supplement and removal of oxygen free radical therapy could achieve a gratifying curative efficacy.Conclusions Chronic alcohol encephalopathy is prone to be misdiagnosed because of its diverse clinical characteristics.CT/MRI scan can provide scientific basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Vitamin B supplement combined with removal of oxygen free radical generally can afford a gratifying clinical improvement.关键词
