摘要

Abstract

The study on erosion resistance performance of the red loam bank slope at hilly area distributed in the south of Yangtze River has great significance.Through the experiment of slope model performed under the condition of artificial rainfall, the geocell-protected red loam slope underwent a series of rainfall erosion tests with various slope grades, different rainfall intensities and different geocell types.The erosion resistance performance of geocell slope protection was also analyzed qualitatively.The results showed that under the condition of artificial rainfall, geocell reveals good resistance to erosion while its effect of rainfall erosion protection on red loam slope is obvious, which could be widely applied in engineering practice.
