Abstract
The wave dissipation characteristics of a new type of breakwater with cylindrical flexible floating structure under regular and irregular wave were researched.Through the cross-section model tests in flume, the variation relation between the transmission coefficient, reflection coefficient, attenuation coefficient of the breakwater and the anchorage style, water depth and relative width of the structure wave were analyzed.The experiment results showed that this flexible floating breakwater has a favorable dissipation effect on short period wave, but less on long period wave;the relative width of the structure is the most important factor affecting the wave dissipation while the anchorage style and water depth have less effect on wave dissipation effect.The research results could provide references for the anchorage and placement angle design of the "V" shape floating breakwater linked by flexible structures.关键词
