Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method on diagnosis and treatment of acute subdural hematoma.Methods Sixty students were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 in each.Students in the control group were taught with traditional teaching method, while students in the observation group were treated with PBL teaching method.They were taught with the same teachers and the same course.The course contained the disease course, diagnosis and treatment, and analysis on the clinical data of 12 cases.The two groups were tested with the same papers, the high score (85 points or more) rate was calculated.Meanwhile, we let students do the teaching satisfaction evaluation, and the total satisfaction rate was calculated.Results Twenty-five students (83.3%) in the observation group and 23 students (40%) in the control group got high scores, the high score rate in observation group was higher than that of the control group, P<0.05.The satisfaction evaluation result was satisfied in 24, basic satisfied in 4, unsatisfied in 2, and the total satisfaction rate was 93.3%, in the observation group, versus 15, 8, 7 and 76.7% in the control group.The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, P<0.05.Conclusion PBL is superior to traditional teaching methods in the teaching on the diagnosis and treatment of acute subdural hematoma.关键词
