摘要

Abstract

When the averaging pitot tube flow sensor is installed at the downstream of elbow, the flow regime is not fully-developed turbulence, which will increase the error of flow measurement.In order to improve the accuracy of flow measurement, a method to reduce the error by installing a flow conditioner at downstream of the elbow for reforming the symmetry of flow velocity profile was put forward.Based on the traditional flow conditioner, the improved flow conditioner was designed by the method of theoretical calculation and analysis combined with real flow experiment.Verified by the experiment, after installing the improved flow conditioner, the linearity error of the ultrasonic flow meter was reduced to 0.2%.
