摘要

Abstract

In order to reduce the extra circuits and the cost of control strategy for the inductive power transfer (IPT) charging system and cancel the communication between primary side and secondary side,a novel constant current (CC) mode and constant voltage (CV) mode control strategy employing only an additional capacitor and an electron switch is proposed in the secondary side to charge battery.No communication and sophisticated control of DC-DC converter are needed,so that the cost and the complexity of the overall system can be minimized.Firstly the current gain and voltage gain of the IPT system are derived.Then the parameters of the passive components are selected to let the current and voltage gain functions independent with the load resistance.Finally,after carefully choosing parameters,the CC mode and CV mode can be achieved by turning on/off the electron switch.Experimental results show that the charging current in CC mode and charging voltage in CV mode of the system are slightly effected by the load resistance of battery,while it still meets the requirement of battery charging for electric bicycles.
