Value of right heart catheterization in the diagnosis of patients with pulmonary hypertension
摘要
Abstract
Right heart catheterization (RHC) is an invasive test in which the catheter goes into the superior or inferior vena cava,right atrium,right ventricle,pulmonary artery and its branches via peripheral vein for the measurement ofhemodynamics,oxygen saturation and cardiac output in the vena cava and right cardiac cavities.Right heart catheterization plays a decisive role in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension.It is also the gold standard for the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.In the current review,we summerizes the significant role of RHC in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension.The clinical indication,parameters measured in RHC,clinical misunderstanding and safety issues are also included in our review.关键词
