石家庄市6045例职工体重指数与健康状况研究
Study on body mass index and health status of 6045 employees in Shijiazhuang city
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between overweight,obesity and blood pressure,blood lipid,blood glucose,uric acid and other health indicators collected from 6045 workers in Shijiazhuang city,in order to provide a scientific basis for improving health and general wellbeing of the studied population.Methods Individual participants were categorized into groups by BMI.The study was completed on participants based on medical examinations,laboratory tests and questionnaires.The period of study lasted from January 1st 2016 to October 10th 2016.Results Overweight rate and obesity rate were 43.3％ and 13.5％,respectively.Overweight rate and obesity rate were significantly higher in males than in females.Blood pressure,TG,uric acid,urea nitrogen,FBG,hemoglobin and the prevalence of HTG,LHDL-C,diabetes and hyperuficemia showed an increasing trend with the increase of BMI,while HDL-C showed a decreasing trend.Conclusions BMI is found to be significantly associated with hyperlipidemia,diabetes,hypertension and other chronic diseases.Management of body weight or BMI can contribute to better health of workers in Shijiazhuang city.关键词
