Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of chronic sinusitis in children with adenoid hypertrophy.Method 77 cases of chronic sinusitis children with adenoid hypertrophy in our hospital from Junly 2015 to April 2016 were selected as the research objects. According to the wishes of the children's families, they were divided into control group (42 cases) and operation group (35 cases), control group children were treated with endoscopic sinus surgery, operation group children were treated with low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation on the basis of traditional drug therapy. The treatment effect, the symptom severity scores before and after treatment, and the family satisfaction of children between the two groups were compared.Result The total effective rate and the family satisfaction rate of operation group were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05). After treatment, in addition to snoring, the clinical symptoms of the two groups were significantly reduced than before treatment (P<0.05), operation group children with nasal congestion, runny nose and hearing loss symptoms were significantly better than control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation of adenoids can effectively relieve the symptoms of chronic sinusitis in children with adenoid hypertrophy, which is safe, effective, easy to operate, and has little harm.关键词
