Abstract
Intracranial artery dissection, namely intramural hematoma of intracranial vessels, is an important etiology of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke in young and middle-aged individuals. The diagnosis of intracranial artery dissection is challenging due to the small diameter and tortuous path of intracranial vessels. As a non-invasive and non-radioactive method, vessel wall magnetic resonance imaging can demonstrate the characteristic signal of intramural hematoma caused by artery dissection, thus playing a crucial role in diagnosis, differential diagnosis and follow-up of artery dissection. This paper will briefly overview the application value of vessel wall magnetic resonance imaging in intracranial artery dissection.关键词
