Abstract
To help the engineering of single phase to ground fault location for electric power distribution systems, an approach to collecting the information from the single phase to ground fault location (SPGL) devices directly by the master station of a distribution automation system (DAS) is proposed.The successful criteria for phase to phase short-circuit fault location is used in single phase to ground fault location.The methodology of making the information binary character and disintegration meet the requirement of the location criteria is introduced.The redundancy and correlation of the information from the single phase to ground fault location devices based on one or more than one principle are utilized to guarantee the correctness of location in which Beyes approach is used.The application of the proposed approach is illustrated with the testing results and successful location of single phase to ground fault in practice, showing its feasibility and effectiveness.关键词
