Abstract
Dairy cows in transition period, as an important period, experience drastic physiologic adaptions with metabolic enhancement, oxidative stress and immunity changing, and dairy cows are always in negative energy balance, which results in the incidence of metabolic disorders.Nicotinic acid plays a vital role in the modulation of glucose and lipid metabolism in dairy cows.In this review, we summarized recent advances in the effects and regulation mechanism of nicotinic acid supplementation on transition dairy cows, aiming to provide reliable data for further related study and application of nicotinic acid to the nutritional regulation and health of transition dairy cows.关键词
