Abstract

On the basis of engineering requirement for chemical cleaning of the power plant ultra-supercritical operating boiler, and combining structure characteristics of the boiler and component analysis on the scaling layer, glycolic acid+formic acid was preliminarily picked out as cleaning medium from common organic acid cleaning agents. Laboratory pilot test verified cleaning effect of glycolic acid+formic acid and the concentration of hydrogen peroxide in passivation process was determined. This paper describes execution process of the engineering and introduces key technique measures. The chemical cleaning effect is excellent and each index is superior to requirements of guideline for chemical cleaning of fossil plant. The results show that descaling rate is 98.7%, corrosion rate is 1.428 g/m2h, in addition, chemical oxygen demand, pH value and suspended matter index of cleaning wastewater are all up to national emission standards after treatment.
