Abstract
Traditional electricity consumption elastic coefficient only reflects relationship between electricity consumption of the whole society and growth of regional gross domestic product (GDP) while doesn`t distinguish composition of electricity consumption of the society and regional GDP. In allusion to this problem, this paper presents concept of industrial electricity consumption elastic coefficient which can overcome defect of traditional electricity consumption elastic coefficient within historical range having no comparability by designating base period to respectively convert industrial electricity consumption and GDP growth. Taking Wuhu city as an example, it constructs a correlation model for fixed base electricity consumption elastic coefficient and industrial electricity consumption elastic coefficient based on historical data. By analyzing this correlation model, it draws conclusions that fixed base electricity consumption elastic coefficient and industrial electricity consumption elastic coefficient of Wuhu city shows positive correlation relationship and industrial electricity consumption elastic coefficients of secondary and tertiary industries both have great influence on electricity consumption elastic coefficient. The next research direction is to establish correlation model for industrial electricity consumption of secondary and tertiary industries and industrial GDP.关键词
